The best loved Jamaican dish, our jerk marinade has plenty of heat from fruity habanero chillies and a fragrant spicy kick from pimenta allspice (also called Jamaican Pepper) and mellowed with a little rum. Perfect for charcoal barbecued jerk chicken served with rice and peas but also a fantastic slow cooked jerk pork for wraps or seafood with a fresh salad.

Cooking instructions:
Serves 4, contains enough marinade for approx 600g meat, fish or vegetables (typically 4 chicken breasts, 4 steaks, 4 fish fillets or similar.)
  • Open bag at tear notches and add meat, seafood or vegetables, reseal with zip.
  • Marinate at least 30 minutes but ideally overnight in the refrigerator. 
  • Barbecue, grill, roast or even fry meat to taste.
